Review of Pensjonat BorowikAs an environmental scientist from Auckland, my recent stay at Pensjonat Borowik was notably disappointing, especially considering my fond childhood memories of the area. From our arrival, we faced delays in receiving our room keys, which set a troubling tone for the trip. While the pension's structure spans three floors and offers a buffet with tasty food options, the overall experience lacked quality and care. Housekeeping left much to be desired; careless laundry noise disturbed our peace, and the towels were negligibly changed. Though the basic rooms were clean, they offered little comfort or charm, lacking furniture beyond the essentials. Mold in the bathrooms and subpar hygiene raised concerns. The high cost of stay, coupled with added charges for quality meals, questioned the value proposition. Its potential is overshadowed by these shortcomings, dampening what should be an enriching visit.
